"The ‘Last Supper’ is one of our favourite family games. We play constantly; by ourselves around the kitchen table, with friends on holiday; in the car on the school run. It never fails to excite." says Willow.

Introducing our guest this month - the wonderful Amelia Freer - one of the UK’s leading Nutritional Therapists and healthy living experts.

As always we ask:

What would you have for your last meal on earth? A drink, a starter, main course and pudding? You never get full and you can be wherever you want in the world…

With: My partner Nick, daughter Willow, all my best girlfriends and Margot our whippet!

Where: I’d like to say on some exotic beach somewhere, with the sun just setting behind us and the sea gently lapping in the background, but I think I’d be just as happy in our garden (so long as it was one of those precious and rare summer evenings when the air stays warm enough to be outside late into the night without a jumper). I do love a beautifully laid table though, so that would be important. Lots of home-grown flowers, lovely linens, comfortable chairs, beautiful plates, and dozens of candles.

Drink: Nyetimber sparkling wine. Perfectly chilled and served from beautiful fine glasses.

Starter: I love vegetables, so I’d opt for a roasted beautiful beetroot salad with smoked almonds (they’re incredible), feta, punchy leaves, a delicious dressing and edible flowers. Heaven.

Main Course: Roast chicken, with a huge pile of wood-roasted vegetables, lots of creamy tahini dressing, some char-grilled broccoli with lemon and pickled chilli. And very crunchy French fries.

Pudding: I really don’t have a sweet tooth, so I’m not a huge pudding fan. Though I do love beautifully ripe fruit, so maybe I’d just have a huge platter of amazing summer berries and stone fruits fresh from the garden. Otherwise a cheese board with pickles.
