10 Fashion Faves
10 of the best this season from Net A Porter! It’s both incredibly easy to choose my current season favourites at Net A Porter but also hard to limit to 10. These will all stand the test of time and are investments in future seasons, promise! A little velvet, sequins for the festive period, some excellent quality knitwear staples and a bag of dreams….

Festive Biscotti
Julius Roberts is back with another delicious festive Biscotti recipe - and what a gorgeous gift this would make too. Tied with a bow, of course….
“Every year I love making a batch of cantucci biscuits before Christmas. They’re great dunked in a coffee or tea, alongside some poached fruit with cream or best of all dipped in Vin santo. Once baked they last for ages and make a great present too. You can use any nut or fruit in the dough and they’re incredibly simple to make. These are pistachio, with fennel seeds and lemon zest, dipped in dark chocolate and finished with orange zest. Absolutely delicious.”
150g pistachios
250g caster sugar
1 tbsp fennel seeds
Zest of an unwaxed lemon
250g plain flour
1 heaped tsp baking powder
A pinch of salt
2 large eggs (or 3 small)
Icing sugar to roll
Melted Dark chocolate for dunking
Orange zest
Bash fennel seeds with a handful of sugar - then combine all ingredients other than the icing sugar and mix thoroughly into a dough. Bring the dough together and roll into two logs on a bed of icing sugar. Place on a tray with baking parchment.
Bake at 200 degrees for 20 minutes until golden brown, then remove from the oven, leave to cool for 15 mins and then slice on the angle with a bread knife. Place cut side up back on a baking tray and bake at 180 until gently brown, then turn and bake the other side being very careful they don’t burn. Leave to cool slightly, then dip in molten chocolate and grate over orange zest. Let set in the fridge the store in a jar in a cool place.
Enjoy your weekend, keep calm, warm and carry on!
With Love,
Willow x
