I’m coming to the end of a three week half term! With boys at different schools now, their breaks sadly didn’t match up and I’m slightly worn out from being games master and chauffeur. I did manage some painting and seed sowing amongst their parties. Despite the juggle, I do always feel a bit sad when it’s over too!
Still, no time to dwell, it’s full steam ahead until Christmas now - event flowering, wreath workshops, book tour plans and much more. It’s an exciting time of year, which is just as well as the weather makes me want to hibernate…
Lots to perk us all up in this edition - colour, craft, chats & more!
In this week’s dispatch - 10 colour & joy fashion pick-me-ups, My Flowery Life chat with Arthur Parkinson, Clodagh’s autumn recipe from her new book, how to create sugared fruit Christmas decorations, a new podcast & more…

Cover Girl!
I am SO excited to grace the cover of the December issue of Homes & Gardens magazine! It came out this week but here’s a sneak peak… Photographed at home with Poppy my dog, it includes lots of my festive decorating tips to make Christmas feel sparkly, abundant and fun at home in a ‘How I Host’ special feature.

Arthur Parkinson on My Flowery Life
Thank you for those of you that joined me for my chat with the brilliant (and hilarious) Arthur Parkinson this week. It was such fun to chat about chickens, hanging baskets and gardening (and a few more surprising topics!) in my video series, My Flowery Life.
You can watch the recording here.
