Friday Seedlings
The Christmas countdown and 6 things I'm loving; get ski ready & pretty orange slice garlands to deck your halls...
Happy Friday!
How has your week been? We’ve had endless driving rain, cabin fever, serious flooding, a lot of driving wishing my car was a speedboat!; sunshine after rain and the prettiest, icy frost blanketing everything in sight. All in a week. Not the most ideal conditions for flowering or gardening…! I hope you’ve stayed safe, warm and dry.
It’s the 1st of December on Sunday - yes, there is no denying it. Christmas is coming! As is our monthly edition, free for all including a bumper Christmas gift guide and my own ultimate 12 days of Christmas wishlist.
Last night I hosted a wreath masterclass with Jigsaw in their store on the Kings Road in London. So lovely to meet so many flowery friends and London was feeling very festive and pretty despite the cold! It really is a magical place this time of year…
In today’s Friday Seedlings edition, I share 6 loves for the week (from books to escape December madness with to Kate Moss for Zara (get ready!) and ways to stay warm ); I share a how-to for dried orange slice garlands to drape around your home; and our ski edit is in…
Also, don’t forget my 3-in-1 Christmas decorating tutorials you can watch from home if you need some hands-on inspiration - there’s a wreath, garland and table arrangement…

6 things this week…
1. Our Magical Colourful Sale!
Our magical colourful sale is on now, don’t miss it! It’s our take on the Black Friday madness. I don’t do black. And the thought of a ‘Black Friday’ doesn’t sound very appealing. But if you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em. It was time for our sale anyway and so I hope you can jump online at willowcrossley.com and find some joyful bargains and possibly tick off a few Christmas presents early. Well it’s early for me but I know it’s only 3 weeks away! The sale ends Monday so happy shopping and don’t forget something for you…
2. Kate Moss for Zara!
A good designer for high street collaboration often sends me into sheer panic. Kate Moss for Topshop, Anya Hindmarch for Uniqlo, Stella McCartney for H&M, Doen for GAP - it all feels accessible and exciting and I know I have to be on it or FOMO feelings will run high. Last week I ended up on the Uniqlo site right as the Anya collaboration launched (quite honestly, by accident) and super quickly made some purchases in case I missed out. I know we all should be mindful of over-consumption but I do feel like a high street/designer collab should be celebrated and I know it will be a circular purchase - loved by me for many years to come or handed on to someone just as appreciative as me. Which brings me to the very exciting news that tomorrow (November 30) is the launch of Kate Moss for Zara. Created with super Brit stylist Katy England, it’s set to be very covetable - my sartorial dreams and decades loving fashion (and Kate) are converging…!
