Happy Friday!
After all that sunshine there was bound to be a little back step but nobody expected snow earlier this week! However fleeting, it was a reminder that we’re not quite through it yet and that we have must welcome the warmth with open arms and never ever take it for granted!
Spring has still sprung in a big way for me this week as it’s been a very busy flowery one, in and out of London for two events - one for my friend Cordelia launching her beautiful new book, Flower Couture, and one for Dior to celebrate International Women’s Day.
Cordelia’s book launch was at one of the most beautiful venues I think I have ever seen. It’s called La Loma and is a private members club so we weren’t able to take photographs but trust me, it is beyond! Proper maximalism. A very tasteful layering of colour and clever pattern on pattern - all so exquisitely realised; designed by Rifat Uzbek - who we’ve dug into a little more below.
For both events, I used very spring-y, fresh and colourful flowers, lots of twisted candles and fine cut glassware for extra twinkle at night. I also added some pearl-adorned lemons which is a very fun new trick to add to your spring dinner tables and I talk you through how we did it below…
This issue we also have an article dedicated to screen time, because we all want to desperately take a break and not be glued to our screens 24/7 but how on earth do we achieve it, when the rest of the world is?!
Finally, I answer this week’s Ask Me Anything question.
Happy Friday!

6 things I’m loving…
1. Our New Brass Flowers!
I am SO excited to give you a sneak peak of these BEAUTIFUL brass flowers we are launching this weekend in collaboration with the brilliant, Fi McDougall from Wilderframe, just in time for Mothers Day! We have bluebells and violets in rustic terracotta pots. The dreamiest present and pick-you-up objet d’art at home. The brass bells jingle and catch the light and I want them everywhere! Numbers are very limited so dont dilly-dally if you want one.
2. Cordelia de Castellane’s New Book

It was so fun and indeed an honour to create the flowers for the event for my dear friend, Cordelia de Castellane (and be invited to stay for dinner) to celebrate the launch of Flower Couture - From My Garden To My House, Cordelia’s second and heavenly book, out now with Rizzoli. This is just the sort of dreamy book to while away a spring evening conjuring up garden plans and flower-filled rooms and possibly the most perfect Mothers Day present, for oneself?
