Happy Friday!
I went for a walk yesterday - the same walk I do every single day and suddenly, the forest floor is GREEN! It’s been a barren old brown mush for the past six months and I can’t tell you how exhilarating and happy making it felt seeing the change. Baby cowparsleys everywhere. One was even flowering! The birds were in total overdrive, dipping and diving around me, their beaks filled with tiny twigs for their nests. And the sun was out. It filled me with optimism and hope. I’m not quite sure what about in particular. More just a feeling that it was all going to be ok.
In this week’s edition I share 5 things on my mind - from Mothers Day coming up to my current TV obsessions; flowers I’m obsessing over this Spring to my new course with Create Academy.
And I confess to a wardrobe crisis - is it a new season or entering mid life?! Whatever the reason, it’s making me reassess and inspired a Spring Edit - 12 items for a new season sartorial refresh - in this week’s edition.
Finally, I answer this week’s Ask Me Anything question.
Happy Friday!

5 things I’m loving…
1. Mothers Day Spoiling
It’s Mothers’ Day here in the UK in just over a week’s time, on Sunday 30th March. We have lots of lovely things in store (from vases to brass and paper flowers, photo frames to wine glasses, salad servers to seed collections) to spoil the leading ladies in your life who are mothers or mother figures in our special Mothers Day edit.
Sending so much love to all those missing their mothers in some way, or finding the annual reminder hard. It can be so incredibly tough but I hope you can find some joy and comfort, perhaps through flowers or in the garden, on a special spring-y Sunday.
2. Tele Time
I know the sun has come out and so tele-watching isn’t probably what I should be thinking about but there is so much good stuff on at the moment I cant help it! Two I wanted to talk about…
White Lotus series 3. Everywhere I’ve been in the past two weeks, all anyone wants to talk about is White Lotus. Although lots are slating it, saying it’s too slow, not enough going on etc, I couldn’t disagree more. I absolutely love it. Every single bit. The sunny, beautiful palm tree, cocktail-filled Thai setting ( The Four Seasons in Koh Samui) . The horrifyingly bitchy, two-faced girl gang and their fabulous outfits. The sensational, Lorezepam-loving Parker Posy and her nauseating elder son. Aimee Lee Wood full stop. It’s utterly brilliant. Three days, fours hours and thirty minutes and counting til the next episode…Do you love it too?
My other new fave - that we’ve devastatingly now finished - is Running Point on Netflix. Kate Hudson, a reformed party girl trying to prove herself as a business woman by running their family basketball team in LA. It’s pure sunshine. Hilarious, light hearted, heart warming, full of brilliant one liners. 29 minute episodes. I can’t recommend this one enough; so much so I think I’m going in for round two.
What are your current faves?
3. My new course with Create Academy is live!
My new course with Create Academy is live for subscribers! This one is all about large scale floral arrangements so probably best suited for the serious flower stylists however also rather inspiring and practical if you've got a big celebration event coming up you’d love to do create something WOW for! I hope you enjoy it and love to hear how you get on…
