As March comes to a close there is no doubt about it - Spring is here at last!
Clocks go forward this weekend so we’re losing an hour’s sleep (not ideal for the new mothers this Mothers Day!) so I hope you can get outside in some sunshine to make up for it. The benefits definitely outweigh the loss of an hour - longer evenings, more time outside, the lightness of the air and the friendliness of people easing their way out of hibernation…
This week I shot more epidodes of The Magic of Flowers - a series we’ve created for my new YouTube channel. It was so much fun and we even had proper spring sunshine in the afternoon - no more freezing in my garden studio. There’ll be spring wreaths and easter gardens, blossom arrangements and seed sowing so lots to keep you creating with flowers at home and I can’t wait to share…
For my 6 loves I’m sharing a recipe for the best sponge cake I’ve made to date - there have been many - I couldn’t love them more if I tried - just in time for tea and cake in the garden; plus the seeds I am sowing right now, the best product to fake a glow now my ankles are braving life sans socks!, a fun new substack to follow & more…
As the days get longer and the bird song stronger, the bees are humming and the sunshine beckons - it’s time to get into the garden! We’ve rounded up 9 essentials (ok some are not essentials but help make gardening fun and restorative) - from the practical to the pretty.
Finally, I answer this week’s Ask Me Anything question about my favourite flowery combos.
Happy weekend and wishing all the mothers a very happy day on Sunday!
Love Willow

6 things I’m loving…
1. Behind the scenes for The Magic of Flowers
I can’t wait to share new Spring episodes of The Magic Of Flowers - a series for my new-ish YouTube channel - there’ll be four new episodes and I can’t wait to share in the coming weeks… from seeds to wreaths and so much more to inspire you to create with whatever you have at home…
2. Cheat’s glow
It’s that time of year that we start to ditch the socks and pre-pedicure we may slide into a ballet flat or loafer and be shocked by the moonshine of our sun-starved limbs. Or maybe that’s me! Either way, it’s time to start to layer in a little glow into my moisturiser to take the edge of the white glare! This is my current fave which doesn’t streak, make you smell like a biscuit or look like a carrot….
