I hope you’ve had a great week. Busy as ever here! We’re putting our finishing touches on our very first print edition of The Seedling to celebrate Christmas (we can’t wait to share!); I’m busy planning lots of Christmas events; spending a lot of time on sporting sidelines for my boys and trying not to freak out about 40 days until Christmas….!

In this week’s Friday Seedlings, I share 6 loves for the week (from what to watch and wear, the Boden party bus, and my mother’s exquisite art); my first Christmas wreath of the year; and an edit of 12 seriously sparkly jewels for the party season because a little bit of bling can make festive parties infinitely more exciting!

6 things I’m loving this week…

1. This place - Heckfield

On Tuesday I spent the most spoiling of days at Heckfield Place with Collagerie and sportswear brand, Varley and a group of fabulous female founders. A complete joy from start to finish; sunny wintery woodland walks, fascinating conversations, delicious lunch by Skye Gyngell and a moment of total zen in the Bothy by Wildsmith. I’ve been well aware of the deliciousness of Wildsmith for a while but had no idea that it was part of Heckfield Place. If you haven’t met it yet, check it out - the products are utterly delicious. Velvety, heaven-scented pure luxury. Ive actually started dreaming about them. Straight to the top of the Christmas list.

Photos from the day, Lucinda Chambers and Serena Hood, founders of Collagerie, Lara Mead, co-founder of Varley, Rose Mann of Farm Girl, Michelle Kennedy of Peanut, Gabriela Hersham of Huckletree, Sharmadean Reid of The StackWorld and Venetia Archer founder of the Ruuby App. Our delicious lunch and winter walks

2. This show - Martha

Like her or not, ( I love her) Martha Stewart is an enigma. Fascinating, somewhat empowering and extremely watchable, have you watched Martha yet? I do love Autumn telly…

3. This vibe - It’s beginning to feel a little like Christmas…

I made my first wreath of the year this week and now I cant stop thinking about Christmas! I created a huge, wild, pink berried and orange sliced beauty (more on this below) for Boden who are bringing a restored routemaster bus to the Cotswolds this weekend. I’m off to hang it on the bus on Saturday afternoon in case you’re around and want to come and hang out on the fun bus!

You can find it in the Market Square, Stow on the Wold on Saturday 16th, 11am-5pm and Sunday 17th 11am-4pm. Lots of fun activities, lucky dips, music, snacks, free gift wrapping - all in the name of celebrating local independent retailers… Hope to see you there!

4. This exhibition

Okay yes, I’m biased, as this is my wonderful mother, Kate Corbett-Winder’s exhibition in the Chair Gallery in Hay on Wye and it’s too dreamy not to share. Flowers and art, gardens and colour, the perfect place to start your christmas shopping. Kate will be there herself on Monday, Thursday and Saturday in case you want to meet the artist extraordinare in person.

The Chair Gallery, 10 High Town, Hay on Wye HR3 5AE
Monday 2nd December - Saturday 7th December | 10 - 3pm

5. This jumper (and coat!)
