Happy bank holiday weekend!
It does feel like this is the end of summer (sob) and that the focus, after this weekend, is getting back into the swing of a new season - back to school, work, big plans and fresh starts. But for a few precious days longer, let’s linger in the August bliss. And I also the joy of dahlias incoming!
We’re taking a break this week - normally the Friday before a big monthly edition but this week we’re taking today off and will have a Seedling dispatch next Friday followed by our big September Edition next Sunday - full of ideas for fresh starts and new season fashion, flowers and food…

stealing an hour to myself to write down all my plans for the ‘new year’ in a big notebook and fill out September diary dates so I am feeling on top of things in my giant Smythson diary. I always feel like it’s a new year in September. It’s that back-to-school feeling that never leaves. Does anyone else?!
