Wellness, My Way
The Colourful World of Mira Mikati
Mira Mikati and her namesake fashion brand radiate sunshine, colour and healthy good vibes so we couldn’t resist asking about her approach to wellbeing.
Lebanese-born, Paris-raised Mira pursued her fashion ambitions from a young age, attending Paris’s ESMOD at 17 before gaining certificates from Parsons New York and Central Saint Martins. The archetype to her now-eponymous fashion label was conceived in 2015, with Colette and Bon Marché among the first to pick up orders. Since then she has worked as an international fashion buyer, all the while dreaming up what she wanted to wear, share with the world and create a brand with…
As a buyer, she wished to find something fun that was also beautifully tailored, which is exactly what she set out to do with her ‘carefree-meets-cool’ eponymous brand, Mira Mikati, which launchd in 2015, with a dedication to colour, timeless silhouettes and tactile details. With a flagship store, Mira’s Happy House, in London’s Walton Street in Chelsea, Mira’s label is stocked globally at leading retailers and is constantly collaborating and spreading joy with other like minded brands around the world.

Here we asked Mira to talk through her attitude to wellness and rituals that make her happy, inside and out, and give her the energy to create for her joy-spreading fashion label…
What does wellness mean to you?
For me, wellness is feeling good and happy inside out. It’s about protecting my energy, listening to my body, and keeping my mind curious and positive. I find it in moments of creativity, connection, and happiness whether through my work, time with people I love, or simply chasing a beautiful sunset. It’s the balance that lets me live brightly and fully.
How do you approach wellbeing?
I approach it by making space for the things that lift me up , sports, daydreaming, and feeding my creative side. I balance the fast pace of my work with moments that slow me down, like a pilates class, surfing some waves, enjoying a matcha, or simply being present. Sleep, laughter, and surrounding myself with colour, flowers and positivity are my non-negotiables. I’m not perfect at it, but I always come back to what makes me feel bright and happy.
