Love a good mood/vision board. I build mine out in Notion and link each image to a specific objective for the year :) ...each of which is linked to a different, supporting project which i work to achieve across the year. The idea being that I don't just have a lovely wall of images I like - but they act as a visual reminder of what I am working to achieve. I also take the same mood/vision-board images from within Notion and create a printable in Canva - and print that out on A2. That lives on my office wall as a physical reminder of what I am aiming for :) All surprisingly techy for me, (a die-hard GenX) - but I've found it really helps!
My mood board is one of my favorite things - upholstered as a frame in blue and white Cowtan and Tout check with diamonds of Samuel and sons gray blue flat trim / each diamond has a push pin with a different letter of the alphabet . The board is stuffed with photos of friends and families and lately postcards of all my favorite travels . Occasionally a swatch will be stuffed but I love my quotes that inspire me each day to move forward with a great life - still working , learning and living at 77 !
Yes, I’ve often thought of doing this and admire others who use mood boards as inspiration for their design work. Sometimes the boards are ( nearly) as lovely as the finished products themselves ~ with your prompting, Willow, maybe it will actually happen!
